Born on the South Side of Chicago, Lonnie (a.k.a “KO” a.k.a “Rasta”) later moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he and his cousins started a group named GMA (Get Money Army.) Their inspirations on rapping came from a variety of rap artists like 50 Cent and others. GMA consists of 8 rappers (family and friends) KO a.k.a Rasta and NICE got discovered at a family reunion held in the Summer of 2008 by Down With It Records’ C.E.O, $tunna Cole. KO a.k.a Rasta and his cousin NICE later traveled to Vegas where they recorded their first CD, titled “We Da Problem” that released in 2009. KO a.k.a Rasta started working with DWI on his personal materials on the rapping industry, he believes he can reach the young with his talent and experience of the street, rap and style, he likes to come hard core with what he has experience in his rap. KO a.k.a Rasta is now back living on the South Side of Chicago where he continues to make his rap music but travels back and forth to Vegas to record with his label mates. As a youngster, KO a.k.a Rasta always believed that he would be a star because of his personality and swagga. So North, South, East and West, GET READY cuz it won’t take long for his greatness and skills on the mike to take over!!!! Rasta….
